In the words of Martin Luther King. Jr. “Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education.” Our college, a great temple of learning, has been disseminating higher education to underprivileged section of youth in this backward district since its inception before independence of our nation. We devote wholly and earnestly our service to the noble cause of imparting knowledge, skills and values to the youth aspiring for quality higher education for their empowerment in this region. We do strongly believe that character building is indispensable and equally important as intelligence to ensure a bright future for our students. Our nation is striving a lot to become a developed one in spite of having all resources, especially the great potential human resource. But still we are not able to achieve it because of the great impediment known as the wide spread corruption. I’m certain that educational institutions have got an indispensable role in eliminating this evil practice by imparting values in addition to education. Hence apart from activities for academic excellence, we implement some innovative practices to mould the character of our students to gain social responsibilities. One of the most remarkable activities among them is Assembly prayer on every Monday for the entire college conducted by various departments on a rotation basis. Resource persons from various places are brought by our college IQAC to deliver motivational speech to our students. We pay due care to make our students employable by enhancing modern technical facilities for learning and offer various programmes such as soft skill training, NET/SET coaching and entrepreneurship programme to enable them to meet the challenges of 21st century.
I’m much satisfied with remarkable progress our college has made in imbibing value based education and providing a platform for holistic learning to the young generation of learners. I strongly believe in our competent team of teachers whose dedicated efforts help our students achieve great success in the years to come.
